The Bamboo Xaxophone is a unique saxophone-like instrument made entirely out of bamboo! Originally crafted in Hawaii, this bamboo sax features a chromatic single reed design resembling the Duduk or a straight Chinese flute.
With its mellow and warm tones, the Bamboo Xaxophone produces an intriguing blend of clarinet and saxophone sounds. In the upper range, it stands out for its strong yet balanced shrill timbre.
To set it apart from its metallic relative, we decided to name it the “Xaxophone” for this special occasion!
