Taiko Dojo

Welcome to our 太鼓道場, our Taiko Dojo!

Embark on an enthralling musical journey with Taiko Dojo – a masterfully curated library of 22 traditional Japanese instruments, meticulously designed for Native Instruments Kontakt. Immerse yourself in the authentic sounds of Nagado, Shime, Odaiko, Japanese Percussion, an assortment of Okedo, and more, all brought to life through state-of-the-art recording techniques and an unwavering commitment to detail.

At the core of Taiko Dojo pulsates the rhythm of KyoShinDo, an ensemble of Italian virtuosos and craftsmen steeped in the venerable traditions of Japanese arts. As both performers and creators of their instruments, KyoShinDo has captivated audiences at prestigious festivals across Italy, Japan, France, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Malta with their spellbinding performances.

Taiko drumming is not just an auditory delight but a visually captivating and visceral spectacle. The performances, characterized by its exuberant energy and meticulous precision, are harmoniously intertwined with the elegance and poise of the body’s movements.
